Submission of application will constitute an agreement to all the conditions in the above Contemporary Art Exhibition form. Non-compliance with condition disqualifies artist's entry. The artist understands that Mackinac State Historic Parks, the Mackinac Island State Park Commission, and other involved parties will not be held responsible for loss, theft or damage, whether caused by the negligence of its officers, members or others. The commission recommends that the artist purchase insurance to cover their artwork. The artist agrees to grant the Mackinac Island State Park Commission and Mackinac State Historic Parks permission to reproduce their artwork for publicity and/or educational purposes regardless of copyright. Images are assumed to be an accurate representation of the work. The jurist reserves the right to reject any submitted works not consistent with images submitted during application. This release shall be complete bar and defense against any claim which arises out of the loss or damage of artwork.
