Michilimackinac Secrets and Scandals: Histsory Revealed

This new themed weekend will present visitors with a variety of programs focusing on some of Michilimackinac’s lesser known history. Each program will examine an aspect of the Michilimackinac’ past that caused the original residents to gossip and share secrets with one another. All special programs and events included with regular admission to Colonial Michilimackinac. A Mackinac Parks: 125 event!

Chateau LaFramboise Bicentennial Party

Presented by Harbour View Inn. A free event, open to the public in the parlor of the Chateau Laframboise of the Harbor View Inn. Enjoy champagne and cake along with a presentation from a Mackinac State Historic Parks historian on Magdelaine Laframboise and her role on Mackinac Island. A Mackinac Parks: 125 event!

Music in the Park, presented by Mackinac Arts Council

From the Arts Council: “With a spectacular backdrop, our summer concert series takes place on the lawn of a National Historic Landmark, Marquette Park, which is at the foothills of Historic Fort Mackinac downtown across from the marina. Bring a picnic and tune in for some great live folk, rock, country, blues—the best of Americana. All concerts are free. We recommend bringing a blanket or lawn chairs for your comfort.”
