We are very excited to welcome guests to Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse for the 2021 season. The health and safety of our visitors and staff is our primary concern. To ensure that everyone’s experience is enjoyable, all guests and staff must follow the following guidelines when visiting the lighthouse:

In addition to regular, frequent sanitizing of admissions and sales counters, exhibits, and restrooms, we have outlined a more detailed cleaning schedule for Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse.
Members of the guest services staff will be equipped with cleaning supplies at their stations and will regularly sanitize their work station and surrounding area. In addition:

Restrooms
There are no restrooms within the grounds of Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse. The nearest facilities are located in adjacent Michilimackinac State Park, also managed by Mackinac State Historic Parks. Push plates and door handles will additionally be sanitized during regular cleaning of the site.
