Map & Travel Information

The fort overlooks downtown Mackinac Island. Walk up the front ramp for a harbor view, or take a carriage or taxi to the back entrance where a wheelchair is often available. Inside, ramps and an elevator make the fort accessible.

As there are no automobiles permitted on Mackinac Island, motorcoach/bus parking is found at any of the three Mackinac Island ferry boat lines.
