Employment Opportunities

Come see a half dozen Michigan State Park employers on February 25, 2017 at the

Straits of Mackinac State Parks Job Fair.


We are now accepting applications for all 2017 seasonal positions- click here for position descriptions. Interviews will begin in January and continue through April as needed. Most job offers are made by early May, if not earlier. All applications are kept on file through the end of the season as some positions may open up later.


Are you interesting in volunteering for Mackinac State Historic Parks, or earning college credit for your work while gaining real-world museum experience? Volunteer opportunities exist throughout our park system, while a limited number of internships are available in the collections, exhibits, interpretation, and park operations departments.
