Whether your interest lies in becoming an Adventure Tour guide at Historic Mill Creek Discovery Park, a guest services representative at any one of our parks, or a member of grounds maintenance for park operations, MSHP offers a great job for nearly all talents and interests. |

| Low cost dormitory housing is provided to most seasonal employees for under $100 a month (including uniforms). Employees are also invited to MSHP employee special events, such as a summer picnic, employees’ awards ceremony, special presentations on topics such as archaeology, and future MSHP alumni events. Employees also receive 15 percent off museum store merchandise. Choose from a variety of work locations and parks on Mackinac Island and in Mackinaw City, but don’t wait to apply. Positions are filling fast. These positions start in either early May or early June and last until either mid-August or mid-October. |

| Mackinac State Historic Parks, a family of living history museums and parks in northern Michigan’s Straits of Mackinac, is an agency within the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Environment. Its sites—which are accredited by the American Association of Museums—include Fort Mackinac, Mackinac Island State Park, and Historic Downtown on Mackinac Island, and Colonial Michilimackinac, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse and Historic Mill Creek Discovery Park in Mackinaw City. Mackinac State Historic Parks is governed by the Mackinac Island State Park Commission, established in 1895 to protect, preserve and present the parks’ rich historic and natural resources for the education and recreation of future generations.
